From the Founder: Welcome to the
Official Family Reunion Planning Month resource. This movement began back in 2005. A family reunion planning group headed by Mark Angelo Askew say the need to education local household regarding the importance of building self- esteem by means of family interests including documenting special occasions, enjoying family crafts, documenting family history and using these projects to enjoy meaningful family time. About The Movement As founder of the Family Reunion Planning movement it is a pleasure to invite you to join us in this important endeavor to rebuild our most precious basic unit of society, the traditional family unit. While many families enjoy both father and mother living in the home, others have learned to adjust to single parent households. That said, many households may struggle with identity and suffer from a lack of understanding of thier roles in the home. Still all households can uphold good standards for the betterment of the family and society at large. A key to doing this is introducing them to the discoveries made possible by means of family reunion. Reconnecting with the family of the present and the past. What Family Reunion Means Sons especially have a strong need to know they have many fathers. This can be accomplished by helping them to connect with their forefathers of old and embrace proud moments of their history. Sons and daughters make peace with their past, learn to love themselves and discover their role in the household. This often prevents them from becoming vulnerable to predators and self-distructive behavior. In time they will see themselves as the builder of a promising future while enjoying the supportive benefits of the immediate and extended family. Family reunion is not limited to blood
lines. Those who have played a key role in promoting happiness and the
neccessary provisions for the sustenance and education of others are an
integral part of the Family Reunion Planning Month movement. It is a time
to search for and reunite with those you have supported and those from
whom you have recieved support. Mark Angelo Askew Family Reunion Planning Month History of The Family Reunion Official Resource of Family
